3GPP Transposed Standards

TSDSI has transposed 1,657+ 3GPP standards documents covering Releases 13 through 18, making them available as TSDSI standards for Indian adoption.

Release 14 (Rel-14): eMTC, NB-IoT enhancements, V2X communications
Release 15 (Rel-15): First 5G NR specification — the foundation of 5G
Release 16 (Rel-16): 5G enhancements — Industrial IoT, URLLC, V2X
Release 17 (Rel-17): NR NTN, RedCap, multicast/broadcast
Release 18 (Rel-18): 5G-Advanced — AI/ML, energy efficiency, XR

India Contribution: 5Gi

TSDSI’s 5Gi (5G for India) standard enhances uplink performance for rural and semi-urban coverage, addressing India’s unique deployment geography. 5Gi is incorporated in 3GPP Release 16.
