Telecom Standards Body
TSDSI is an autonomous, membership-based standards development organization established January 7, 2014 per the National Telecom Policy 2012. Jointly supported by Department of Telecommunications and Ministry of Electronics & IT, registered as a not-for-profit Society.
- Develop & standardize India-specific Telecom/ICT requirements and solutions
- Present Indian requirements to 3GPP, ITU, oneM2M and global bodies
- Create & safeguard India's telecom IPRs; foster standards-based manufacturing
- Provide guidance and leadership to developing nations in standards
