TSDSI operates under a democratic, consensus-driven governance framework with clear accountability at every level.
Apex Body: General Body
All member representatives constitute the General Body — the highest decision-making authority of TSDSI.
Governing Council (GC)
16 elected + 5 government-nominated members from 8 telecom sector verticals. The GC steers TSDSI between General Body meetings.
Government Nominees
Representatives from Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY).
Secretariat
Day-to-day operations managed by the Secretariat headed by the Director General.
